Margaret is a Psychotherapist, Counsellor, and Human Resource Consultant with an MSc in Applied Psychology from the University of Coventry. She also holds A Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Chartered Institute of Personnel Management UK, with over 2 decades of HR and consultancy experience.
She is trained in ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) with expertise in a wide variety of clinical populations and diagnoses, having specialised with certifications in Trauma Focused Therapy for families, children, and individuals and Grief Counselling. She has an Advanced Diploma in Youth Counselling from Institute of Counselling, Scotland and has been working with adolescents and young people in high schools in Abuja designing tools that enhance effective learning, excellent coping, and life skills.
Margaret is a member of the British Psychological Society, Chartered Institute of Personnel Development UK, Association for Child and Adolescent UK, Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy in Nigeria, and Institute of Counselling Group Scotland.
A mental health advocate and First Aider with a Certificate in Global Mental Health Practice from Washington University.
